I haven't seen any chess benchmarks with them yet however for everything else
they are about half the speed of a Celeron 800MHz. Also you can get a Duron
1.1GHz for $45. They ment for it to be a low-heat, low-cost CPU instead of a
more speedy one. They should price it around $20 to make it more attractive
considering you could just get a cheapo $40-50 Socket-A board and that 1.1Ghz
Duron and underclock it to 800MHz or so at 1.1v. Then it should be about as cool
as that cyrix and over 2x faster. If I do see some chess benchmarks I will let
you know though. I still would like to have/test one.
