Computerchess newbies are often not aware that this is a common observation, and why. He would probably need a problem solver engine, or mate search especially for chess problems... Maybe The King can find the # in 3 when the selektivity is set to 0? But that probably wouldn't work always, I assume. Regards, Mike Scheidl
