Here's another possibility - Since CB7 uses an internet connection and you mentioned it crashed while downloading, perhaps the problem lies not in the base NT system, but in the IE addon files. I have had problems in the past installing software that depends on IE components. Since Internet Explorer has changed several times since NT 4.0 SP3 was released, it is sometimes necessary to download the latest version of IE from the Microsoft Web site and install it. It is critical to ensure that the IE files in the system are synchronized reasonably well with the similar files in the application.
