There is nothing funny here. If you knew 1/10 of what Bob knows about computer
chess you would understand that. Crafty is a work in progress and flaws creep in
from time to time as he updates the program. Now that he sees the problem he can
fix it. This is a labor of love. Crafty is not a commercal program that he keeps
tuned. I'm sure he tries new things to see how they work, but unlike commercal
programs he does it in public.
