The Chessmaster recommends: Knight to b2.
Analysis: You move your knight to b2, which attacks White's rook at d1. White
responds with pawn takes bishop, which creates a passed pawn on c5. Your knight
captures rook. White answers with rook captures knight. You move your queen to
c2, which pins White's bishop at d2 and forks White's pawn at c5 and White's
pawn at a2. White answers with bishop to f1, which frees White's bishop at d2
from the pin. You move your rook to b2. White replies by moving the pawn to c6,
which pushes the passed pawn. Your rook takes pawn, which creates a passed pawn
on a7. White responds with the pawn to c7, which attacks your rook at d8 and
adds a promote threat at c7. Your queen captures pawn, which pins White's bishop
at d2, removes the threat on your rook at d8, and removes the promote threat at
c7. White counters by moving the bishop to g2. You move your rook to c2. White
responds by moving the king to g1.
As a result of this sequence of moves, you win a rook and two pawns for a bishop
and a knight. In addition, your mobility is enhanced, and the mobility of
White's pieces is somewhat decreased. Also, White's pawn development is not as
strong. Finally, the pressure on White's King is slightly increased.
