You are saying that if you had the tablebases in use in 1999 that you would have _won_ the event? Name: Points: Refined: P.ConNerS 5.5 27 Nimzo98 4.5 30.5 Patzer 4.5 28 Shredder 4.5 27 Ikarus 4.5 27 Diep 4 27.5 SOS 4 21 Gandalf 3.5 28 Isichess 3.5 20.5 Neurologic 3 22.5 XXXXII 3 22.5 Comet 3 19.5 Gromit 1.5 20 Diogenes 0 22 So you would have been able to find an extra 2 full points to take the tournament? How is that? I think to make that statement is utter horseshit. The games you LOST in the event were not due at all to tablebase use. I just looked at them. You LOST way before the endgame in both games. How would tbs at all helped you? Once again is this a situation where Diep should have won blindfolded?
