Right, but not only lack of knowledge, but lack of mental strenght after 2 or 3 hours of playing. Consider I am 53 years old, an although that is not too much for ordinary efforts, you begin to realize the difference in this specific kind of mental taks where concentration must be sustained without pause. Of course my lack of proficiency in endings makes a good deal of my loses there. But I am trying to improve that. I hired a MI with which I am by nowew improving my openning game. You will not believe it, but after so much time playing chess I still lack a minimal repertoire. My best Fernand
