I can't say I agree with you. I think you can only make little money playing
poker online (if you play honest), because of three reasons:

1. You can't see how other people behave. Sometimes you can tell if someone is
bluffing or not by the way he behaves.

2. I am pretty sure that you run into cheating players communicating with each
other what cards they have over the phone or even in the same room.

3. Players online might be more intelligent than players in a casino because at
least they know how to operate a computer and therefore they might also be
better in playing poker. I am not sure about this last assumption though,
because I have seen idiots in both situations.

I am not sure if there is a program that can play in real time, but if there is
I am not afraid to play against it. I think creating a good pokerprogram is
extremely difficult. There are so many factors to take into consideration. I had
to choose between writing a chessprogram and a poker playing program. I thought
chess was more easy and I am a lazy person so chess it was. I know Jonathan
Schaefer (Chinook) wrote a pokerprogram that is supposed to be pretty good, but
I don't know much about his program.
