In view of the fact that you played in a tournament, it seems unlikely that you
do not now have a provisional rating. The only exception would be if the
tournament itself were unrated, which seems highly improbable considering who
played in your tournament.

Do a little checking. You will probably be very pleased at what you discover.
In fact, you could easily have a **provisional** rating above 2800. If it was
FIDE sponsored, you may already have a FIDE provisional rating.

I once was given an amusing/amazing provisional rating of a strong master in
correspondence chess. That rating was higher than anyone else's I was paired
against! At that time I had only played a few correspondence games in my life.
I was actually a beginner at correspondence chess. Although I fully realized
that my rating was completely bogus, it made me happy anyway and was good enough
to get me entered in a masters-only tournament [where I was also seeded as top
board]!!!
