I agree with that assessment.  One of the problems with NT is that it has been
relatively stable while IE has been moving rapidly.  Service Pack 3 has now been
out for something like 10 months.  In that time IE has made several major
changes.  Service Pack 4 is now testing and should be available sometime soon
(maybe a couple of months) and that may bring them back into sync.  If your NT
was installed a few months ago it will probably need to be updated with the
latest IE.  One of the possible reasons this could affect CB 7 and not other
programs is that most programs don't use the internet to do updates, but CB 7
does.  I suspect that updating may use some of the IE components.  If so, the
Chessbase people probably used the latest versions of those components, and they
may not play happily with older IE components on the system.
