Hmm.. USB, that doesn't work with NT or ...? It seems a bit too much to both
change the OS and add a converter. And all because the DGT programmer did a
simple shortcut when making the device driver. The comm-port input on a Win32 OS
signal an event when the board send field_update message so there should be no
need to make a loop here without a timeout on the port.

Well, i just stick to the Classic gui then. I have build in dgt support (and
sound) for my own engine so it will run in console mode when I play against it.

By the way, is it the Dgt Project group that make the device driver for
Chessbase, and not Chessbase themself?
