Will, Yace on my computer would play Qc7 after 120 seconds. This is, how I
understood you message (when will it play the move).
A tester of Yace, José Luis Jiménez, has an AMD Thunderbird at 1.34 GHz. I know
many log files of him, and his computer is almost exactly 4 times as fast as my
computer. You have AMD 1.6 GHz - and then I think it was ok of me to suspect
that your computer is more than 4 times faster. Here are the logs on the 1.34
AMD. First Yace 0.99.50 (the version you used?):
536711 1.217 0.90 7. 1...Nxb2 2.Ra8 g4 3.Ra7 Qb6 4.hxg4 Bg6 {120}

So, Qc7 would be played after 24 seconds, draw score after 40 seconds.

Qc7 would be played after 29 seconds, draw score after 42 seconds.
You said, Yace is not close (to Grok with 50 seconds). If this is the case, I
suspect, that something with your setup is wrong. Which might very likely be my
fault due to bad documentation, or due to some bug. Your hints are welcome.
Cheers,
Dieter
