I want to be able to switch modes. I am doing a strange experiment. I have a
common format that has a single non-rotated bitmap which I maintain and can
easily translate into either 0x88 or normal bitboard. I want to (at any point)
be able to change modes from 0x88 to bitboard. After choosing bitboard mode, I
am (currently) maintaining the rotated boards [but if I could find something
fast enough, it might be possible to generate them on the fly]. I have already
thought of a couple more speedups for the fastest technique.
