The T-Rex was virtually incapable of running due to it's weight. Its hind legs
were to weak to sustain any prolonged acceleration and the front limbs would
also have been insufficient to survive a fall for example. So the primary role
was as a scavenger. The foremost predators were the various raptor species
AFAIK.
