Are you saying that Yace 486/50 lost a match against TigerPalm? What hardware is that Palm exactly? I suspected the 486 being at least 2x faster, otherwise the whole thing is a non-issue anyway. And if Tiger can use significantly bigger hashtables on that Palm than the 486 engine, that is also a big factor to take into consideration. I think Tao 5.0 should run on that hardware, if you want to try, if you run it in textmode (Winboard would steal a couple of mb's hash). "show" prints a board and e2e4 e8g8 is the move format.
