Subject: sometimes the fun is the challenge

With advances in hardware over the next five years, I think computer
chess will change. I also think this will take some of the fun out of
computer chess. If the top programs are all playing at 2800+ level, and
some of the comp vs human issues are improved upon, I dont think we will
see the top GM's playing in matches too much. This article talks about
a breakthrough in transitor size. interesting reading.
