The name of my program "Sunsetter" comes from a highly distributed program
"battling" another program for important knowledge in C.Hinz "The Paratwa", a
SciFi novel.

Note that the novel itself is rather ordinary and not recommended. The only
interesting concept is the notion of "connected minds". Two people interfacing
and creating a third "super-personality" that controls two bodies.

This idea is *a lot* better used in Vernor Vinge's novels. IMHO he is the master
of idea-based "hard" sense-of-wonder SciFi.

Good order to read his books is:
- "A Deepness in the Sky" (a prequel but warning: only with a single character
in common)
- "A Fire upon the Deep"
- the short story "The Blabber" (in "The Collected Stories of Vernor Vinge",
soon to be out in paperback too)

Regards,
Georg
