Here are some new positions from Arasan games I've added to my test suite:

Arasan2.60: Best move f5:

[D] rn3rk1/pb1p1p1p/1p2pBp1/8/1qPN1P2/8/2QRB2P/4K1R1 w - -

Arasan2.61: Best move Bf5:

[D] r1b1r1k1/ppq2p1p/3b2pQ/3pn3/8/2P4P/PPBN1PP1/R1B1R1K1 b - -

Arasan2.62: Best move f4:

[D] rn3rk1/pb2b2p/5p2/2p1qNp1/1p2p1Q1/4B3/PPPN1PPP/R4RK1 w - -

These are all pretty hard for Arasan, although not for some programs.

Solution times:

            Arasan 5.4     Arasan 6.0
2.60 f5   378 seconds.   272 seconds
2.61 Bf5   40 seconds    140 seconds
2.62 f4   114 seconds     89 seconds

on a P4 Xeon 1.8GHz with 64MB hashtables (I have no idea why 6.0 is
slower on the middle test).
