Subject: Building a dual CPU machine

I'm curious how much a dual cpu machine would cost. I don't want the absolute
latest top of the line machine, but I'd like at least dual 1.5GHz. I think
there's probably a range around 1.6GHz or so where the difference in prices
between it and the next fastest and slowest aren't that great. Anyway, when I
calculated how much the parts would be to build a dual 1.6GHz machine with 1GB
RAM, and a 60 GB (or was it 80 GB) hard drive, I calculated around $500 +
shipping costs, but I've read about other people spending several thousand
dollars on a dual cpu machine, so I'm a little curious if I'm missing something
or if they just went absolute top of the line.
