It was an XP mobo under the dual mobo section. Are you sure you need MP's? What
happens when you use XP's?

And as another poster said, I'll need a more expensive power supply, and better
cooling. So apparently there was more here than I had first anticipated (which I
did anticipate). Maybe I'll spend my money on a better single cpu machine and
avoid all of the added costs involved in dual cpu stuff. It seems that there is
quite a bit more than goes into it, not to mention more money. Or maybe I'll get
a laptop, or one of those nifty little palm PC things.

I suppose the only thing that I'd use a dual cpu computer for is testing out my
program against others, and I could do that with my single CPU machine with
somewhat decent accuracy, and then there is ICC of course.

The other option is to run a match between two separate computers. Any idea how
that would work? Is there any software to run a match or a game between two
engine's on two different computers?

Another possibility is to get a dual machine of lower speed, which would still
allow for engine vs. engine matches on the same machine and adding dual cpu
support later on and testing it.

A lot to consider I guess. Thanks for your help anyway.
