All SSH implementations have had some security problems. But OpenSSH has had very few. As for RedHat and Mandrake being secure by default... Are you serious? They have reduced the number of background processes and daemons running. And as for running a firewall, that don't make a server secure. You don't need a firewall if the install is secure by default. And the number of unaudited lines of code in Linux are numbered in the 100k-1M LOC. Call me paranoid... MvH Dan Andersson
