But, isn't it just a bug in the engine (and possibly also a bug/misfeature in the GUI)? BTW. In analyze mode (infinite search time) exiting the "analyze search" works well with Shredder 5, while, as you stated, you are not allowed to return a move while waiting for ponderhit or stop. But it is not too unlogical, IMHO. I guess giving a move to WB while pondering and not received the expected move, is also an error (I never tried it). Regards, Dieter
