My unix professor went out looking for a new laptop a few days after Mac OS X came out. He found a laptop with OS X on it, and was flying around the machine doing all kinds of stuff like he'd been using that OS for years. The salesman came up to him and was amazed at how well he knew what he was doing. The salesman asked how he knew Mac OS X so well, since it had only been out a few days. My professor replied, "It hasn't been out for a few days. It's been out since 1968!" So from what my unix prof says, it's Unix with a different GUI. Russell
