  I use linux. I used many flavours of it, currently I use Debian distribution
(for about 2 years).
  I switched to linux from dos in 1995 because it was OS used in labs in my
University. And, since it does all things I need, I never looked at
alternatives.

  For chess related stuff I use xboard to connect to chess servers and gcc to
develop my suicide chess program (suicide chess is chess variant on FICS - I
believe it is wild 26 on ICC). On linux, of course.

  I have windows 95 installed on one partition (I got it preinstalled with my
computer). I log in into it occasionaly to check how web pages I develop look in
internet explorer.
