I examined this game with several CB engines and all of them, in due time,
evaluate 12.Nxg5! as winning for White. Below are the relevant lines.
Main one, in my view, is 12.Nxg5 hxg5 13.Bxg5 Nbd7 14.Qf3 a6 15.Qg3 Kf8 -as
played in the game- and now 16.f4! b5 17.e5 dxe5 18.d6 Bxd6 19.Bh6+ Ke7 20.Nd5+
Nxd5 21.Bxd5 and wins. This demolishing line was discovered by the tactical
wizards, Fritz 7 and Nimzo 8.
Anyway, White's play in this game is correct and its intuition to choose
12.Nxg5! is commendable. Who is this "amateur2"?
