So are you saying that Mac's are faster than it appears? IE an 800 MHz PowerBook might be as fast as a 1GHz Athlon (or whatever the conversion actually is)? Or is it the other way around, where an 800 MHz PowerBook would be slower than an 800 MHz Athlon or P3? I always remember hearing how a 500 MHz alpha processor would beat the 1GHz Pentiums or Athlons. Russell
