I reinstalled SP3 for WIN NT 4. I reinstalled IE 4.01 SP1. I reinstalled CB 7
either accepting the replace IE4 components or on other reinstalls of CB 7 I
prevented it from accepting IE 4 components. I did the above in every order
imaginable. I still can't get the Online upgrade to work with WIN NT 4. It works
well with WIN 95, but I have a dual boot setup and this may somehow be causing
the problem. What I end up is 1) when I dial up from CB7 I get a busy signal. 2)
When I dial up first and then boot CB 7 to go to the online upgrade, it starts
dowmloading a file and then it crashes on cb7uninfo.ini. I can't get the
Register to ChessBase feature to work either. As I said no problems with CB 7
and Win 95 but CB 7 and online upgrade in Win NT 4 are a no go for me. The rest
of the CB 7 program seems to work well in WIN NT 4 though.
