http://www.talkchess.com/forums/1/message.html?235569 I was interested to read the above message which states that Gambit tiger 2 doesn't use the time efficiently in 1'+1'' fast time controls. At a time control of 40 moves per minute the average length of a game is about the same as 1'+1''. Both Hiarcs 8 and Gambit tiger 2 seem to handle this time control OK with no losses on time. I ran 350 games which Gambit Tiger won +145 -107 =98. AMD 1.3 16M hash Ponder off 4 man tablebases Books Tiger: Tiger.ctg Hiarcs8 using the downloadable tournament book.
