We have modified the GUI to make "infinite" game analysis Chessmaster 9000 less cumbersome and less confusing. If you are familiar with CM8000, to get infinite analysis you had to open the "Thinking Lines" window and select the "Chessmaster" checkbox. This confused a lot of users (and the SSDF!) and was really a poor design decision. Now, we have a completely separate window, called "Mentor Lines", which, if you open, you automatically start infinite analysis, no matter what else is going on in the game. The "Thinking Lines" window will now automatically show you what computer players in the game are thinking, without needing to activate any checkboxes. Endgame databases can now be accessed in the "Coach" window to determine optimum endgame play. And, of course, the engine is improved as well, so the quality of the analysis should be equally improved. jm
