I used it at work. I bought CM2100 which was stronger and had a better UI. I bought CM3000. I bought CM4000 and was amazed at the new GUI and the much-stronger engine. I bought CM5000, CM5500, CM6000 (and convinced several other people to too, because of the "human" personalities), CM7000, and CM8000. I bought a games CD-ROM that included CM4000 Turbo. I have purchased every Macintosh Chessmaster as far as I know. My fiancee has her own copies of CM6000, CM7000, and CM8000 even though we live together (now). I don't recall there EVER being a product I bought so many times (other than consumables liek food & beverages)!
