I think it's open hardware, i.e. bring along the best what you can find. Are there going to be 4 world champions again? (multi, single, amateur, blitz) Or more? What about: Multiprocessor world champion Single processor world champion Amateur multiprocessor world champion Amateur single processor world champion Multiprocessor blitz world champion Single processor blitz world champion Multiprocessor amateur blitz world champion Single processor amateur blitz world champion There! 8 titles :) >Actually, what are the major computer chess tournaments that take place during >the year? The major tournaments that I know of are: 1) ICSVN Tournament (in Leiden, Netherlands) 2) Paderborn tournament (in Paderborn, Germany) 3) Open Dutch Computerchess Championship (in Leiden, Netherlands) 4) World Championship (like last year, Maastricht, Netherlands) There is no major tournament in the states. (Which makes me think: 'then why are they all complaning the WCCC should move over there if there is so little interest') -- GCP
