A person which found interest on computer chess and have fun on this hobby is a winner and not a loser! This programs are more interesting that commercial programs in this tourneys. So for me is not very important which programs are playing, more important is that many programs playing and the programmers have fun. For the most fans of chess programs is important that the favorits are playing. OK, can understand this point ... If I see the computer chess world championchip from this point ... Big Nonsens ! Do you know Chess Wizard, Nightmare or other programs ? A program which are playing with ~ 2.500 - 2.550 (if Fritz is playing with 2.650) have "normaly" a chance to win of ~ 20%. A good exemple are my 20 tournaments "Amateurs vs. Professionals". Goliath won 2 of 20 tournaments. >Tiger, yes. ;-) You are a Tiger fan? Mali is very very strong. Now the German "Banana team" is under the last 4 teams, I cann't know this. Today the American player are clear better and we see the typical German football :-( But the American players are the moral winner of this game not the German team. Best Frank
