So, the question is, which cache is going to be that big? How many clock cycles required? [Need to say which clock rate is involved]. Incidentally, I'm not sure that "hammer" is the right word. Doesn't the code name change from generation to generation? Isn't there a new code name for the generation after the hammers? Maybe that's the generation we should be talking about. Bob D.
