For suicide, Sjeng 11.2 without question. If anyone thinks otherwhise,
you're hereby challenged to a match :)

(there are some non-free ones that are better, though, notably ascp,
which is just insanely good. It's even so good, that it can't get
an active rating on FICS because there are no other players remotely
close it it's strength. Hats off to Ben Nye. But that as an aside.)

Sjeng also plays giveaway and losers. I'm quite sure it's also the
strongest free engine in those variants. (It's the overall #1 player
on ICC as well)

Sjeng also plays crazyhouse and bughouse. It no longer is the strongest
though, that honour goes to SunSetter. You can get SunSetter at d2d4.de,
and sjeng at sjeng.org
