What are the odds against a soccer time playing five matches and conceding a total of five goals which were disallowed for no apparent reason. The odds indeed must be astronomical but it has happened to South Korea. This coupled with the fact that wealthy Korean businessmen are known to have placed huge bets on South Korea at very long odds, they stand to win millions, leaves no alternative but to cancel the 2002 World Cup.
