Make it a Fritz engine :)! Of course this would be like shaking hands with the enemy, but on the other hand it would be like making money while using their product. I never use my own copy of rebel 9, for the reason that it is too convenient to use Fritz 5, where if i want a different evaluation i can just switch engines, without even having to set up the position again. Getting oppinions from older versions of rebel such as is the case in rebel 9 isn't really that interesting. besides you could still charge a hundred bucks for the engine :). You wouldn't have to have code for a database or a collection of games or anything. As for your competition the hiarcs engine bites! Only Junior is really interesting, as for Doctor i have never heard anyone evenmention it. The Crafty engine just points to that this may be the way the wind is blowing, make it a engine for fritz :).
