Subject: Best engine for analysis? (a question from a friend of mine)

A friend of mine that is a "chess-postalist" (he is playing more than 90 chess
games by e-mail!) asked me which engine was the best to help him analyse the
games.

I couldn't answer... I really like Hiarcs while analysing a game; I think Fritz
is much of the time too optmistic about some positions I don't like, and Chess
Tiger seems to be hunting for the king all the time...

Is this really a very difficult choice ? What do you folks think about it? Which
one is the best?
