Within the group of winboard engines Crafty and Yace are not known for their
extensive chessknowledge; I am afraid you pay to much attention to elo ratings
here. I have to admit though that chessknowledge should not be the major
criteria for engines fit to consult in corr chess. Good corr players are
supposed to have that knowledge themselves, and maybe use a tactical "beast" to
double check for blunders.
