My personal opinion is that the match will be decided by the quality of the openingbook used by Fritz. If Chessbase comes up with something special, a lean and mean supertuned book, then we are in for a surprise maybe. Such a book however, takes a huge amount of time to tune, and I don't think that even Alexander Kure by himself will be able to create such a book (if he is part of the joint forces at all). Incorporating all available recent opening theory will not do in this case. One will have to make a "perfect" decision in which lines to play and which lines to avoid. Just a thought...
