I agree, this will be critical. Kramnik will be well prepared for standard computer/Fritz openings. Match preparation will favor Kramnik, Fritz will need IMO more than one opening book and will need support from a team (between games) to prepare and anticipate Kramnik's opening choices. Fritz will need to have an advantage with white and equality with black or Kramnik will take Fritz apart. Tournament play favors the computers (top 6 or 7 programs), however, at the top level, match play favors the GM (top 50 players or so).
