I do not understand the reason for it and I have no idea when it is going to stop. I do not trust my common sense about it because I see that it is misleading me about it(I did not expect so many new chess programs). Suppose that there are 100 chess programmers in year 2000 200 chess programmers in year 2002 400 chess programmers in year 2004 800 chess programmers in year 2006 1600 chess programmers in year 2008 3200 chess programmers in year 2010... 102400 chess programmers in year 2020... 104857600 chess programmers in year 2040 It may mean that we are going to have more chess programmers than not programmers who are interested in chess programs and chess programmers may earn more money from helping other chess programmers.
