Doesn't have to take a lot of time. Set it to show only cases where the position evaluation changed by two pawns or more. Then, if you made a move which dropped a piece, you will know. Once the bad move has been pointed out to you, then you can try to figure out why your move was bad. If you "just can't see it," then let your chess program "explain it for you." It does this by showing responses to alternative moves you try. You have to experiment. Don't expect the beast to be human, though. Bob D.
