Actually spam mail is unsolicited mail, often sent to a large group. So in this
respect, the mentioned mail _is_ spam mail.

But since the volume is very low and it contains serious and on-topic things
it's not a severe case. :) While it's nice to be able to unsubscribe to these
mails as mentioned in the email, please keep in mind that some people don't use
this feature, because it's a common trick of spam mails to verify email adresses
this way. (which of course is not the case here since we entered the
email-addresses ourselves, so there's no need to verify them again)

It would be nice to be able to register/unregister for these emails when
creating an account here (a simple check box, which even can be set initially
would do the trick) or change it in the profile, but I assume you guys have
other things to do. :)
