I both emailed and posted the information when we first set it up. You can un-do yourself from mailings at the Member Admins Page: http://www.talkchess.com/forums/edit.html I HATE spam, but what I hate FAR more are the emails that claim that if you click on a link, you will be removed, or if you send an email to them, you will be removed. Of course, the links are non-existent and the emails bounce. How can a company care about its customers if it does this? We spend lots of time actually removing people who ask to be removed because I think it is counter-productive if you wish to stay in business and be successful to send emails to people who do not want them. However, the only way to know if someone wishes off the list is to give them the opportunity to do so. We do that with the Members Admin Link and the Unsubscribe Link on the bottom of the actual email. We could not possibly know if Frank or anyone else does not wish to receive our mail unless they tell us. Telling the world will inform the world, but telling us with get the emails to stop. Steve
