I think that's funny, because he wins plenty of games against "top computers" playing on ICC. and he *does not* play anti-computer... he goes for wild, wide- open positions, and still does quite well at bullet and blitz against the "iron monsters". But there are other IM's with other opinions: IM Kim Commons on ICC: "great tactical strength, but limited positional understanding. I enjoy playing against them." He has been playing 20 10 games vs crafty for quite a while now (somewhat like game/30, but with no danger of flagging). So your IM is in direct conflict with that IM. There are others on ICC that play computers a *lot* and they don't agree with the statement that only top GM's can compete. And they prove it by playing... ADOLF is another good one. "dreamteamer" (Borriss) was another. Either can play with computers quite well...
