There are 2 reasons to find Bxh6 without finding the tactics

1)The program may considers black as better and find it in order to draw(deep
blue case).

2)The program may believe that white has more than enough positional
compensation for the material(it may be because of a bad evaluation or because
of a brilliant evaluation).

I did not analyze the position after Bxh6 Bxf2+ and I did not check if white can
win material after Bxf2+.

It is not an easy win because based on another post Crafty showed that line
after a long time with a score of about +1.
