yes extremely slow and outdated. the fastes t now is an athlon 1.8 ghx or a pentium 4 2.53 ghz which are roughly equivalent. i think one should plan on setting aside a few hundred bucks aside every 3-4 months so that one could stay on top, each time a new processor is released or a slightly faster memory or motherboard chipset. this way one could always ahve the latest and the greatest. unfortunately though i have not followed my own advice and am struggling with an obsolete celeron tualatin 1100 over clocked to 1.467 for almost 8 months and will continue with this for at least a few more years. rajen
