You could also turn the argument 180 and say, that those with second rate
programs _need_ supercomputers to stand a chance against the top dogs.
My guess is, no offence, that you will only be able to produce a second rate
program (like most of us, heh), so if you want a shot at the title - get a super
computer!

(I did not mean to insinuate DIEP is second rate;)

My only concern is that it will be remembered (by ordinary folks), as program X
became world champ. instead of program X on hardware Z became world champ.
