Some of the great moves in history, eg. where Fischer seemingly sacrifices a rook for no reason at all in an "equal position", doesn't take computers more than a few seconds to find. I think they are much better at finding the really strange moves, but are just plane bad at finding the obvious moves (like a simple recapture in an exchange of queens!). Their strength is also their weakness in a funny kind of way. -S.
