It was supposed to be a Demo, but you could make it do anything the origenal did with a little fixing. I still think it was great. But I went on to Chessbase 6, 7, and 8. They are all worth the price, even though I liked 7 lots. I don't think you will be disappointed if you get any of them, depending on the Windows you get. XP seems to have a few problems with the Chessbase programs, but 98 works great. I have used other chess database programs and I think Chessbase is the best. Of course, there are others that are good. It just depends on what you want. I think Chessbase covers most everything well. Of course, there is lots of free stuff out there which might suit you. I would check out the free stuff first. But from my experience, I would go with Chessbase. Windows 98 works well with Chessbase, Windows XP can be a bit flakey at times, I repeat! > > > > >------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > > >------------------------------------------------------------------------
